Research
From symbolic knowledge infusion to large language models, I study robust and interpretable activity recognition models for real-world sensing environments. My research also extends to AI methods for Digital Health.
I'm an associate professor at Dept. of Computer Science at University of Milan. I got my Ph.D in Computer Science in 2018 at University of Milan. I'm a member of EveryWare Lab. My research interests cover human activity recognition, behavioral monitoring in smart-homes and context-awareness.

I regularly contribute to the organization and technical program of leading venues in pervasive computing, smart computing, and digital health.
My teaching spans operating systems, ambient intelligence, domotics, and applied data science across undergraduate, graduate, and specialized courses.
